Lucy Dinnen

Lucy is an architect, recently designing Here East - London’s (new) home for making.

Based in London, Lucy has worked on Here East at Hawkins\Brown Architects for the past three years.

She has also been developing the Practice’s use of social media and in house communications platforms, whilst leading the Practice’s research on Digital Infrastructures and Smart Cities following her Prize winning Diploma project; Beckton Smart City, Alternative Smart City.

Lucy has been a Unit Assistant teacher for Undergraduate Studio 8 at The Cass, LMU from 2011-2013 and continues to be a visiting external critic. She has written for publications such as The Journal of Aesthetics and Protest, The Unpublishables and contributed to NHS research papers on collaborative design processes. She has also been involved in a number of V&A Museum Friday Lates, curating and leading participatory events.
